Chevrolet Blazer 1972 Description
Very nice 1972 Chevy blazer. The paint is 5 years old and was taken down to bare metal and done correctly. the rockers have a small amount of surface rust. The bottom of the doors are in great shape. The only real flaw on the body, other than a few rock chips, is the drivers door that sticks a little and has rubbed the paint at the bottom rear of the door and door jam. Other than that and an imperfection in the drivers side pillar the paint and body are in great shape. The interior floor was sprayed with a bed liner to keep it new forever, not tohide and flaws, you can see under the truckthat its a good straight body. The seat covers were replaced about 3 years ago and look new. the dash pad and door panels are nice as well. The stereo sucks. Its an XM stereo and you need a code to make it work, or, you can play CD's in it. It sounds good but it should be replaced. The truck has a lift on it and the tires are in good shape. It has a decent and very peppy 350 under the hood that has a small oil leak. I'm not really sure exactly where its coming from but im thinking the rear seal. It cranks right up and runs strong. It holds its line on the road well and the clutch is ok. This truck is the only one I've seen that's a three on the tree manual ? I have video I can send and I will be glad to take any specific photos you would like. The truck will be for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction earlysinceI don't expect this auction to run its course since I'm selling it to the first person with a reasonable cash offer. I have excellent feedback on ebay and I would like to keep it that way. I would rather tell you everything wrong with it in detail upfront than have you be disappointed after you purchase it. I recommend and encourage inspections but if you can't make it in person give me a call, my name is Robert and I can be reachedat 256-508-4722 and I will answer any questions you have. I live in Alabama so you will only get a bill of sale and a tag receipt, several states don't issue titles on older cars. Check with your DMV to verify what I'm saying and make sure you wont have title problems (but you wont). I do have a gray soft top I have never put on the blazer that I would be glad to work in the deal as long as you don't want a free top with your free blazer !
