GMC Other 1972 Description
All original sheet metal with the exception of the cab corners, rocker panels and front cab mounts which have been recently replaced. The truck is bagged with a single Viair compressor with manual switches (mounted in a cigar box) and a 4 gallon tank. The chassis has been fitted with Early Classic 2.5 drop spindles,new shocks, new watts link locator, new brakes on all 4 corners,new rear wheel cylinders and staggered 20"F/22"R Centerline Smoothies (front center caps are missing). The engine is a rebuiltLT1 350 engine with an Edelbrock high-rise intake with Holley 650 CFM carb, block hugger headers, dual exhaust and H.E.I electronic ignition. Modifications under the hood include a new radiator, new fan shroud, new alternator, Slosh Tub inner fenders, dual piston Porterbuilt hood hinges. All instrumentation and gauges have been serviced and are working properly. Interior: the back of the bench seat has been upholstered with a Mexican blanket, the bottom is white vinyl, new Stealth radio with Aux input and new dash mount speakers, handmade wooden dashpad, new weather stripping(not in pics). Body: Some of the rust is natural, some is airbrushed-the entire body has been satin cleared. Freshly sprayed white bedliner in the bed and floorpans, the roof and front bumper have been sprayed gloss white. The door logos read "Good Will's Marina - The Motorboating Pros." Scallops on the hood, glovebox, lower front fender/doors, and on the back of the bed. All airbrushing, paint and body mods were done by SRM Paintwerks, all chassis work done by SRM SPEED SHOP in Elkin, NC.
