A very nice example of a 1942 Willy's MB Jeep. Ipurchased this Jeep recently from a nice gentleman in Virginia. He was the third owner. This vehicle came from an Army base in Virginia. The serial number is 260184 and was built in Akron Ohio. It was delivered to the military on 8-3-42. The previous owner did some work on it including a new 6V electrical system including a new wiring harness, attery, e-built generator and starter motor. A new fuel system including, as tank, loat valve,gas line and fuel filter,solexcarburetor, hoke and throttle lines. A new steeringwheel worn gear and new brake system including master cylinder, ines and brake assemblies. Also, new water pump and radiator hoses. A new Beachwood canvas top and door sidemud flaps. A new replacement muffler andexhaust pipe. Additionally, ew tires and tubes.

After reviewing the previous owners information, e was the second private owner I am thethird. The second owner purchased the jeep from an estate of an Army Colonel from West Virginia. The tub is original, he correct engine appears to be original as well.
