Jeep CJ 1966 Description
Up for sale is a 1966 Jeep Willy CJ5 4x4 with a rare V6 engine. The paint is in good condition for the year. We're told everything on it isoriginal. The seats look like they're in good condition but I am not sure if those are original seats. They are in good condition. There are two additional seats that will come with this car. The tires look good. Someone put bullet hole sticks on this Jeep but we decided not to take it off because we didn'twant to spend more time on it. I think the sticker removal is relatively easy butthat depends on the person doing it.My brother in law bought this a few years ago but he just doesn't have the time or space to keep or enjoy it. The previous owner drove it sparingly before my brother in law bought it and and kept it covered only to drive it sparingly.
The story is this Jeep was used by the Oak Ridge Military Academy in Oak Ridge, C by someone higher up drivingaround the property to oversee the students. It looks like it was kept well.
The Jeep looks like it is in good condition. Theengine cranks, uns, nd the 4x4 works. Overall, good vehicle that has a lot of history. This could be a great restore project. The condition and the V6 engine makes this desirable.
This Jeep will also come with asolid metal trailer. The trailer is so solid that it can hold water if you block the two holes near the back that are about 1/2 inch in diameter. I am told that the previous owner filled it up and let his grandchildren play in it like a mini pool.
If you have a question or need a different angle picture please ask. It goes without saying, his is an old car so if you submit a bid without inspection, ou do so at your own risk. If you have less than 2 positive feed backs, lease contact me first before you bid. Thanks.
The winning bidder/buyer will need to deposit $250 within 48 hours of the auction/bid close and will need to arrange for transportation or pick up.
