Jeep Other 1978 Description

"SINCE posting this auction I have started fixing the floor. I have part of it welded back in. The price only goes up everyday my mechanic and welding team stays on it. I would advise anybody that is very seriously interested to call me and come see how awesome this jeep is. I just sand blasted the rear underneath of it. etc. Painting everything underside so sweet to match the love on the top side! The frame is in amazing shape! The top is in amazing shape too along with the doors! 831-334-7241Reserve is set at 9. 00. 00 If somebody puts even 2k into it at most they could get 25k or more out of it. The buy it now is still set at a very low price too. 1978 Jeep Renegade. Original 6 cylinder engine that runs great along with original 4 speed factory manual transmission. Has the Willys rear end that is also stock. This jeep does drive and run. The engine runs very very well with great oil pressure. 4x4 and with the stock huge aluminum wheels. This jeep was the showboat for Charlies Surf Shop that was located in New Smyrna Beach Florida on the beach. It was parked out front as a bill board for the shop and became very famous for the entire town. Rip Curl inc offered Charlie to buy out the surf shop. Charlie kept the jeep. It’s been in Charlies possession for several years now and we managed go buy it from him. Our mission for buying the jeep was both to preserve a New Smyrna Beach landmark as well as turn a little profit with the clothing brand Rip Curl. We knew Rip Curl had to have the jeep back. The entire jeep is covered with murals that costed over $22. 000. 00 and took more than 19 months to finish. Each and every picture on it from the girls in bikinis. the boy with the broken skateboard crying on the curb. to the boy slinging skate boards under a trench coat tells a story and a very long and interesting one about the surf shop. It’s amazing! Unfortunately for my investment I just had to buy a house in Mexico. I had to come back to sell all my toys which involves so so many things from motorcycles to RV campers. I thought of shipping the jeep but decided against it. I would just rather somebody else finish it. All seats seem great condition with no tears that I can see or rips. There are orig seat covers on 2 front seats so can’t say for sure but know rear seat is beautiful. Center Console will want to be replaced but is just one of those common $50 universal consoles. The jeep has diamond coat metal all around the lower portion. All the paint is murals describing different sport. surf and skate board scenes. I just installed brand new stainless hinges on both rear tail gate as well as windshield. I just installed a brand new windshield frame. I installed new fuel pump as well as filters. plugs. wires. brakes etc. Way too much to list. "SINCE posting this auction I have started fixing the floor. I have part of it welded back in. I just sand blasted the rear of it. etc. The frame is in amazing shape! The top is in amazing shape too along with the doors! 831-334-7241 This jeep does come with 2 doors. the cover. and so many other parts. Way too many to list. The jeep shows 32. 14 on the odometer. nbsp; The biggest defect is I removed the carpet to repair the floor. It needs a $500 floor pan welded in that you can get from ebay. There are several very small sections that I was repairing some very small rust spots that will need finished and re airbrushed in. There were holes cut for speakers that might not be correct in the dash. I have tried to be as absolutely honest as possible. The frame itself s completely solid. There is no deep rust on it that I myself can find. The engine runs like a top. Some of the evaporation or environmental hoses are disconnected from it and it appears rough when it first started at times. The doors and top are a little stiff and will need cleaned because they haven’t been on the jeep in some time. Ive tried to take very detailed pictures of the little tiny bit of professional body work I have done that will need to be airbrushed in. I tried to get very close ups of the floor damage. There is a heavy duty oil base paint and sealer keeping it from rusting any further. I treated the rust and sealed it. Both the front and rear bumpers might not be orig. I know the grill is not orig. It was built custom for the paint scheme. In Hawaii the jeep surfers always mount all their surf trophies to the front of their jeeps. This trophy mounted here was the very first trophy this surf shop owner ever won. The jeep does have a marine cd player and speakers in it. I am not sure if that radio works. I bought another one that was supposed to be orig for this jeep on ebay for $200. The drivers front little fender rubber is cracked as well as passenger real is looking rough. I know these are very cheap parts to replace though. All the tires look good for whatever use you will be doing with this jeep. It is a 4wd and really doubt you will be doing 90 down the turnpike in such a classic. I’ve tried to tell you every single detail I know about the jeep. I’ve tried to be entirely honest. Please text me at 881-349-6754 to come see it in Edgewater Florida. I do reserve the right to cancel the auction early. The jeep is listed other places. I won’t sell it unless its worth my time. Winning bidder to pay $1000. 0 paypal deposit upon winning the bid or wire transfer. Cash accepted upon pickup. I will not take the whole amount in paypal. I tried to be as absolutely detailed as possible. You won’t know more unless you come see it yourself and check it all out. I’ve put so many hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars into this to get it this far perfect. This jeep has always been somebody’s baby. The tires will prob last for a long long time because nobody will ever drive something this beautiful out of town. I feel like I am taking a huge loss on this jeep. Its not a stunning show car by any mention right now speaking of the good parts of the paint and murals. Its needs a little work to complete it. It needs body work finished It needs entire floor put in before seats can even go back in it. It needs prob $1. 00. 00 or more just in the floor but I can totally underestimate it with the love for this jeep. I would encourage any potential bidders to come see the jeep in person. I would never be selling it if I wasn’t going to be moving to mexico. Yes I can store it for you in Florida until you can come get it. This jeep is registered as a Florida antique car so it costs so little to title or register. I am available by phone at 831-334-7241 Please text me first so I can call you back. I never answer a call without a prior text or knowing who it is. I am also selling off several motorcycles. A Suzuki GSXR600 etc Several pieces of land and a very large gold mine. If you interested in any of it please keep me posted. I will ship this jeep anywhere providing you arrange the carrier. I can try to help out but I don’t want to get stuck with the responsibility. If you want to ship it just please let me know and please arrange transport. This goes for anybody in the world. I know Europe is going Insane for this right now.
