The carburetor has been dumping excessive fuel so it needs to be rebuilt or replaced entirely. It needs a new battery. Other than the typical rust spots Jeeps are known to get (rear frame, ome tub rust, couple holes in the tub from rust) this CJ7 is in pretty good shape. There is a dent in the rear left portion of the tailgate but that does not affect operation. It drives and shifts straight forward. The engine is still strong. The 4WD works, ncluding the front locking hubs. The hard top and full metal doors are removable and in decent shape. The windows roll up and down just as designed.
