Jeep Wagoneer 1988 Description

This Jeep was purchased by us in 1989 in California and has remained a West Coast Jeep its whole life. It has always been garage kept battery charged and ready to run all these years. Common maintenance items such as brakes oil changes and tune-up's were done by local shops. One rear-end bearing was repalced a few years back as was a complete carburetor redo by the dealership. The truck runs smooth starts right up and needs nothing mechanically with the single exception being the smog equipment. We have had this wonderful Jeep registered in our north home state of Oregon so emissions testing was not required. If you require a smog certification in your state do not bid on this Jeep. I am confident the smog system could be repaired however this vehicle is being sold as-is. The winning bidder can pick this Jeep up in San Diego CA. The interior of this Jeep is beautiful. This Jeep although not perfect is all original. There are no cover-ups repainted areas. This Jeep has no rust tires are like new all systems work as they should. This includes the transmission power steering and the on the fly 4 wheel drive. All power door locks all power windows power seats work perfectly. The rear glass operates properly from inside or outside the Jeep. This Jeep comes with a trailer hitch and CB radio. Please look at the pictures. The interior leather is spotless with virtually no signs of wear. The front and rear carpet is excellent with the exception of the spot pictured between the front and rear seating area. New headliner installed recently replaced front windshield due to a rock chip. Please notice the front of the jeep and how there are very few if any rock chips. The paint is excellent top and bottom and all original. This Jeep has been stored indoors at all times and always been started or driven regularly. There are no unusual noises growls or vibrations when driving this Jeep. If you want a museum quality Jeep this is NOT it but it is an excellent true original nothing hidden Grand Wagoneer. The values are all over the place but steadily rising. My reserve is set at less than a third of what a restored JGW goes for. We will assist with transportation any way we can.
