1981 Jeep Scrambler This is my 1981 Jeep Scrambler with about 44600 known original miles. It runs excellent. Looks great! No major rot or rust only normal surface. If you're looking for a great running CJ8 look no further! It is unknown if the radio works because I have not hooked it up. New speakers come with the jeep. 4wd works great! Transmission shift smoothly Tires are new spare has 0 miles on it. Extra folding bench seat in the bed of the truck with 2 sets of seat belts. Locking storage in the bed of the truckJust about 44600 original miles. I drive it weekly so exact mileage will vary.It starts right up after it's been sitting for a few days. When going for a drive after turning it off you will need to step on the gas a few times to get her restarted. I haven't gotten on the tollway but I have driven her 60mph on the streets without any issues. Drives straight solid and without any issues. She's slow to stop (like any older car).The doors are off a YJ doors lock two keys All the turn signals tail and headlights reverse light license plate lamp hazards and spotlights work. All gauges work on the dash except the oil pressure gauge is a little slow (just knock on it to get it to read properly) sometimes the emergency light comes on while the emergency brake is not activated. The emergency brake works. Front disc brakesandrear drum. This Jeep passed inspection and is registered and insured in the state ofTexas. Title is clear in my name and in hand. The frame has minor surface rust (if you're being picky) but no rot or major rust. The spotlights work and so does the farm jack.The paint is new;metallic grey.Windows roll up down and wings swing out as they should. This Jeep was restored with tools I sell in my store! A deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours of auctions end. The deposit is non-refundable but will be applied to the balance due at time of pickup. If you are unable to pick up the Jeep I will work diligently with all buyers/ transporters wanting to have this Jeep shipped. I will require the full payment to be made before item is shipped. If you are out of state you are responsible for any and all costs associated with getting this Jeep into your state.
