Jeep Wrangler 1993 Description

History:
1993 blue Jeep Wrangler YJ with 4.0 HO 6 cylinder engine and 5 Speed AX-15 Manual Transmission.
This Jeep has been adult owned and driven by my family for the past 13 years, my brother owned it first, and I bought it from him in 2006. After owning for a few years, my wife and I started doing a restoration of the jeep.
We bought and installed:custom wheels, new BF Goodrich all terrain tires, a new bestop top, new windows, new radio, new sound bar speakers, new dash speakers, new spare tire rim (to match the new rims on the jeep), new black denim seats, a new matching center console, Heavy duty steel horse front, rear and step bumpers (real thick 304 stainless steel, not the junk you find from China) and more.At about the same time I had the transmission rebuilt (2nd was tired) and a new clutch installed . We also installed a lift (3") with Tranny Drop to keep the driveline angle correct and put a new fuel tank and pump in it while we had it on a lift. Finally we had it repainted blue (factory blue but with a metallic flake) as well as had it custom pinstriped with a Florida Gator's theme. When I took it for paint, we just installed a drivers seat, and that's still how it sits today. I lost interest in fixing it up when my wife hurt her back and said she can't ride in it comfortably anymore. So now occasional use is all it gets, and the new interior is still in the boxes.
This is a running, driving jeep. I drive it on nice days to work an hour away and on weekends to friends when it is just me.The high bidder will get the jeep as well as all of the new parts that I purchased that are in boxes up in my attic. Not pictured (new passenger seat, back seat, console, an AMP for a subwoffer, carpet, and many other odds and ends.
The bad:
No AC. It never had it, but could be added, I never wanted to because it's a Jeep!
I should have had the painter replace the front window frame and gasket where the front window folds down, it is old and starting to show Some rusty spots. Also, there are two spots of rust on the passenger side down low (see pics) that is about the size of a nickel. The muffler is new, but the exhaust pipe up front was on my list to upgrade with headers, so it is still original. It ( the muffler) needs to be tightened up once the headers / down pipe are done away. There is a cracked front turn signal lens that needs to be replaced, and the interior of the jeep should really be pressure washed or scraped. The original owner had put down some "bed liner" on the floors, I started to scrape it back out to be able to get the best surface for dynamat and carpet but I didn't finish, so the floors look like a mix of factory blue and bedliner black. You could carpet over all f it, I chose not to.
Mechanically the jeep is sound, with the engine having the usual 4.0 tick of a weak lifter. It smokes a little blue when you first start it up if it sits for two weeks or more, but only for about 5 seconds. Oil pressure is about 35-40 at idle and 55-60 driving. No issues. The 4 wheel drive works as it should in high and low range, and the automatic hubs are without issue. The transmission and clutch have about 15k on them and feel great, and the power steering / brakes work fine.
I work M-F long hours, but am happy to return calls in the evenings as long as it is after 8pm. I am happy to meet someone serious about buying the Jeep, but it will likely be on a weekend day due to work. Please no scammers, no help in selling, no offers of trades for a diamond mine. I have a clean title in hand, you should have cash in hand if you Bid.
$250 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of auction end, balance due within 7 days.Local pickup expected as there are many large boxes plus the jeep itself to go to the new owner. I may be willing to work with a shipper that you coordinate but it must be discussed prior to bidding.
