Jeep Wrangler 1993 Description
4.0 liter 6 cylinder
5 speed manual
This jeep is the ultimate off road sleeper, very fun weekend toy for either family or just a trail king with friends! I have owned the jeep for nine years and totally transformed it into the an off road trail king, it has never let us down on the trail in reliability or obstacles. It has a large amount of work done to it, while keeping reliability in mind:
Warn 9.5TI winch
KC off-road trail lights
Front stubby bumper with winch out D rings
Trimmed front fenders with TJ flares
Trimmed rear Quarters with TJ flares
3/16" rocker rock sliders
3/16" rear stubby bumper with "D" ring tow hooks
Front axle complete over haul (built to hill in strength): Dana 30 Axle tubes cut out re-machined pumpkin to fit new 3/8" wall tube removing the 4x4 vacuum actuator stock on the yj 30. Front axle houses 4.88 gears with a grizzly automatic locker, chro-moly axles, heavy duty ball joints, Rubicon express leaf springs with reverse shackle kit with Bilstein shocks.
Transfer case: Stock NP231 over hauled with four to one conversion kit, slip yoke eliminator.
Clutch: Center Force Dual Friction clutch, fully over hauled hydraulics center bearing etc.
Front driveshaft: Tom Woods Extended Travel
Rear driveshaft: Tom Woods Extended Travel
Rear axle Ford 8.8 conversion: This conversion was done out of a ford explorer, re-maned tubes chro-moly shafts housing 4.88 gear with Detroit automatic locking rear end.
Mickey Thompson 15 inch wheels
33x12.50 super swamper mudd boggers tires are in very good shape have almost no miles on them and little trail time.
This jeep has really been a fun quality trail rigg, still has a back seat, roll cage. If you are looking for a jeep to hit the trails with now this is the ticket, runs great, reliable, and VERY trail worthy. Contrary to what people say the automatic locking rear ends are a must have, We have NEVER been stuck to a point of no return in this rigg its very capable, jeep has taken many trips (solo) thru Moab trails, Colorado several times, two trips thru the Appalachian Mountain trails, not to mention all the local trails in Illinois and Michigan. We are jeep enthusiast and own several jeeps, this has been a very well taken care of and garage kept RIGG AND WE WISH ALL THE BEST AND FUN TO NEXT OWNERS, it has come to time to part with it, no problems that I am aware of, as stated it is a toy to us and a hobby to work on for myself, love it and hard to see it go!
Serious inquires only, please. Buyer responsible for pick up.
