Jeep Wrangler 1994 Description

This is a 1994 Jeep Wrangler SE YJ Carryall. It was purchased with intentions of being given to my son. It was a great candidate purchased from an estate sale. Jeep was in a barn in southern Illinois. From the look of it, the jeep doors were not original to the vehicle. The body (tub) was very solid. The undercarriage had undercoating and frame was solid. The engine also looked well cared for. The jeep had no carpeting and the exterior paint needed attention (chips and scratches). I started by removing the original fender flares and replacing with wider flares. The taillights, plate holder, spare wheel mount, fuel filler housing, headlight & turn signals, side mirrors were removed and body sanded prior to spraying vehicle with U-pol raptor liner. The U-pol liner protect the tub and has a rough surface look. All screws removed that have contact with metal were brushed with anti-sieze prior to re-installng. The front bumper was fitted with a newer style wrangler bumper and the custom rear bumper serves as a step and a solid protection. In the interior the seats/belts were removed as well as the center console so new carpet can be installed. Door panel were taken apart and detailed and the key locks for all doors were replaced to match. All levers and links inside the door panel were lubricated. The rubber weather strips along the door windows were also newly replaced. Original side mirrors were small and replaced with newer larger style mirrors. New fitted rugged floor mats were installed and the center console was detailed and relined. The oil filter, motor oil, trans filter, trans oil, air filter, fuel filter, distributor cap/rotor, distributor wires, spark plugs, alternator, power steering pump, serpentine belt, tension pulley were replaced. There are no abnormal noises from drive train. The Jeep drive very nice and straight, does not pull and the tires are all evenly worn. The exhaust pipes looks to be original and are still solid as does the catalytic converter, the muffler is new. All the gauges function as they should. Both the A/C and heater work well. The Jeep does not have a radio nor speakers and the heater blower motor only works on the 'Hi' setting. There is a tear on the tint of rear window and the front passenger fender has dent (see picture). The OEM Jack is missing. Don't miss out on this nice YJ jeep.
