Jeep CJ 1978 Description
1978 Jeep CJ7-Fiberglass
-V8 AMC 304 top end rebuild (valves lifters rods)
-Delta Performance custom stainless radiator shroud with dual brushless fans rated over 30000 hours. The fans can be controlled separately via an in cab temp controller. Adjust on/off temps and fan speeds. keeps the jeep cool in traffic and on the trail on 95 degree days (never sees over 200F). This was the best investment I made on the jeep, worth every penny
-Rebuilt Dana 300 Transfer case
-Dana 30 Front/AMC 20 rear axle with new perches
-New Painless Performance wiring harness (fuel and oil pressure gauges are not currently working)
-Brand Spanking new Old Man Emu Suspension (shocks, leafs, ubolts, hardware, ubolt skid plates)
-Brand new BFGoodrich All terrain TA ko2's (32x11.50x15)
-Rear of frame has been extended to house jerry cans/ammo boxes
-Rear bumper tire swing (I was looking for the 5th matching rim, never got to it so I hadnt bought the new matching spare yet)
-Rebuilt steering box and new steering coupler
-New steel brakes lines front to back
-New heater core (blows hot air great!)
-Needs correct speedo gear (cheap from novak and an easy install) its about 10-15 off on the highway
-Rebuilt holley 2 barrel carb
-New mechanical fuel pump
-All seats are in great condition and clean really easy (has the shorter front seats as you can see in the pics)
Jeep does great for its age, I went camping recently over a 100 mile trip which included the lincoln gap in vt and it did phenomenally. This is a turn key, starts right up everytime jeep.
The Jeep has a NY title but I just moved to Colchester.
Thanks for looking!
