Jeep Commando 1967 Description

Up for sale is a 1967 Jeepster Commando. I have owned it since 2010 and have enjoyed every second of it, but it is time for something new. Was purchased in Southern Oregon (Dry, desert like conditions) and has been garaged since 2010. Never driven in rain since 2010. Virtually rust free with cool faded patina vibe. Has had one repaint years ago but looks original.

Bone stock until 2010. Here are the tasteful upgrades done to the jeep:

Interior:

Complete rewire, all gauges and lights work as they should.

Newly painted dash and inside of doors.

Restored dash pad and door panels.

Restored gauge cluster.

New Grant steering wheel.

All new matching bucket seats and rear jump seat.

New glove box.

New stereo with iPod hook up (hidden in glove box).

New 6x9 speakers.

Stock radio still in stock location (uncut dash)

Monster lined interior.

Roll bar welded to frame and padded.

Exterior:

New tranny and motor seals.

Upgraded tranny to a T18 4 speed compound low.

Motor is the stock Buick 225 Dauntless V6.

Custom welded exhaust (Throaty).

New Battery.

Power steering.

Power brake booster.

Brakes completely rebuilt.

Steel braided brake lines.

4" Hell Creek lift kit, best out there not made anymore. Hand forged leaf springs.

New shocks.

Upgraded beefy tie rod.

New rear Heavy duty driveline.

Rear end is a Dana 44 with 3.73 gears.

33x10.5.15 BFG ATs with full size matching spare on Vision wheels.

Another set of wheels with tires included too (steel spokes).

Winch with tow bar.

Custom steel rear bumper.

Original Hardtop with sliding side windows (rear hatch in good condition).

All windows in good condition.

New Bikini Top.

Roughly 5,000 miles on vehicle since the new parts have been installed. Runs and drives as it should, cruises nicely at highway speeds and keeps up with the flow of traffic.

Tons of extra parts and a ton of the originals included. License plates not included.
