Jeep Wagoneer 1970 Description
1970 Jeep Wagoneer..... If you're a wagoneer buff like me you probably already know all about these years. I stumbled upon this one a few years back and had to haul it home, it hadn't ran in years so I got it fired up and it blew a head gasket shortly after. I tore it apart and forgot about it until this last October. It now has all new head gaskets, a flushed out original steel fuel tank, a flushed out radiator, new water pump, plugs, wires, hoses, and a rebuilt factory 2 barrel carb. It runs pretty decent but really could use some fine tuning with the carb. the 4WD works in hi, low and 2wd.I've owned many wagoneers and these years seem to be the most rare with the Buick 350.
It needs some more TLC to make it really nice, but is plenty cool the way it is. Some items that need addressed.... when I had the fuel tank out and cleaned, nobody locally had a fuel sending unit, so I plugged the hole and put it back together without it... the gas gauge doesn't work. the temp gauge also doesn't seem to work after I had the top of the motor apart. The rear window motor is currently out, I have it and was going to have it rebuilt.. but never did. The back seat is missing the hardware for it to mount into place. It doesn't have seatbelts, although I have 2 factory 1970 seatbelts for the front to install. It has a matching set of studded tires on the factory wheels.
We had 20" of snow on the ground at the beginning of last week, I hopped in this Jeep and it really can plow through about anything.... just like a Jeep should.
The miles are assumed to be original. this Jeep has never left the town of Klamath Falls.
I'm listing all of my extra cars... about 6, lots of awesome stuff.
NO RESERVE....
