Jeep CJ 1981 Description

This is a 1981 CJ7. KINDA! I did not build this.The engine is a 1986? Jeep Cherokee 4.0. carbureted. it was fuel injected engine before but it has a conversion on it now.It is an automaticCherokee transmission and transfer caseThe Frame and all surroundingparts that make up the rest of the running gear and suspension are 1981 Cj7It has a winch not sure who made it, it does work.new set of Dolphin gauges installed last year.Seats only have lap belts. the seats and belts are lightly faded.It has 2 battery boxes and a boat style battery switch. Only one battery is currently in the jeep. Why are their2 batteries? Good question.A really cool feature is that it has a Keg for a gas tank!All 5 tires are like new.This is street legal. it has turn signals, stop lights, windshieldwipers, mirrors and high and low beams. (theiris a dent in one of the mirrors).the 4 wheel drive worksthe buggy runs and drives very well.the body is a Dune buggy body that was converted to fit the frame of the CJ7. the Radiator is in the rear in front of the spare tire. it has 2 cooling fans on the radiator. this buggy was well thought out when they built it.If you wanted an attention getter this would be it. If you to be covered in mud while mudding this would be perfect. I used this buggy to run around my property and drive it on the Beach (not in the salt water). it is a lotof fun but it doesn'tget used like I thought it would.
