Jeep CJ 1984 Description

You will never find a nicer Jeep CJ7 Laredo! Everything was taken apart and gone through. The frame was stripped and powder coated, the leaf springs were separated, stripped and powder coated. All the parts shown wrapped in plastic were powder coated, over $4,000 in parts. The engine, transmission and rear end were rebuilt. All new brakes and every single brake part you can think of. I've got over $10,000 in the paint job and I bought the best paint and clear coat on the market. Brake and fuel lines are stainless steel as well as all the bolts we could possibly use stainless steel on. Everything was replaced with new or NOS parts. The steering box is a new Tighter steering ratio from a Hummer, there is new Moog ball joints and steering linkage. New shocks Monroe Gasmatic. All gauges, lights, a/c work like new. I've got somewhere in the range of $40,000 into this Jeep which I know I'll never get back out of it. It was a project I will NEVER take on again. I have learned if you want to buy something nice, buy it already completed. They will never get the money out of it that they spend! After everything was complete I couldn't wait to get it out and drive it, after driving it once I was terrified someone was going to run into me so it was put away. It was finished in May of 2017 so hasn't been sitting for years or leaking any fluids...at all! Check out my FB Page "Jeep CJ7 Laredo Page"for more pictures of the progress and pictures of every part taken off and replaced. The pictures are usually much nicer than in person, this is not the case with this Jeep. It's a must see.
