Jeep Wagoneer 1976 Description
VIDEO WALK AROUND https://youtu.be/BF4Ek_7TW0YHello and thanks for taking a look.
I picked this up a couple years back and have been restoring it into great running condition. The body is in very good condition with straight lines and only minimal spots of surface rust in typical locations. There is no "cancer" and a little effort towards paint and body would make this truck look good as new. The Jeep looks pretty great as is as a survivor. The following has been done to restore the vehicle into "like new" running condition and a brand new headliner is going in this weekend. Prior to shipping I will pay to have a professional detail job done on the Jeep.
This is a running project and there are still some things I would like to and will possibly continue to upgrade including, ew shocks, ew locking hubs, eseal the windshield, xhaust and tires. The bottom line is that this is an exceptionally sound 40 year old vehicle. Could use new wood grain decals and needs one single piece of trim to complete the whole set. Other than that the Jeep is in real solid condition for being a bone stock 40 year old rig.
The following is work that I have done or has been done to get the Jeep back on the road:Dropped and cleaned out gas tankReplaced fuel lines and pick upReplaced all fuel filtersReplaced fuel pumpReplaced carburetor with Edelbrock 650cfmReplaced distributorReplaced coilReplaced Voltage regulatorReplaced Water Pump and thermostatReplaced Air filter with Edelbrock High FlowReplaced broken steering column with color matching from another JeepRefurbished both front and rear differentialsRefurbished Borg Warner Quadra Trac Transfer Case, ew chain and all.Greased both front and rear axles (Dana 44 and Dana 60)Replaced motor for power tailgate glassNew turn signal switch and harnessRewired to rear tailgate for glass as well as towing lightsFlushed radiatorDropped oil pan and resealedDropped tranny pan and resealedReplaced tranny filterReplaced plugs and wires
Everything works on the truck. Lights, urn signals, indshield wipers, rakes are in excellent working order, ear glass and all. We have taken her camping multiple times even pulling a trailer with no problems. We get lots of thumbs up and smiles when this woody rolls by. Ready to bring something else back to life now though, he Jeep is ready to go.
Thanks again for taking a look and have a great day.
