1948 Mercury Woodie Station Wagon 48 Merc

Offered by private party owner in San Diego CA USA. This car was restored for the sole purpose of being entering into the Good Guys Del Mar Nationals car show. The 10 year project turned out what many have said is the #1 Woodie in America. We accomplished what we set out to do and took First place “Best of Show” Winner.

Listed for the first time anywhere on September 12, 2016 and on Ebay only.

Rare Mercury Station Wagon only 1,889 produced.

No expense was spared to restore this Woodie Wagon to perfect condition. The entire car is flawless from top to bottom. Complete frame off restoration to make every nut and bolt Era Correct / New condition.

Engine – Original Rebuilt Mercury 239 V-8 rebuilt .30 over, 4 Barrel Holly Carb, Headers and Dual Exhaust

The Wood restoration – Done by Chris Messano Woodworks San Pedro California

Paint – PPG Custom Emerald Green Pearl with a hint of Metallic.

Upholstery – We have all 3 factory restored seats redone to new. (photos video and slideshow show the Wagon with the 3rd row seat removed)

Chrome – All chrome, trim, moldings, grill, mirrors etc. are flawless.

The entire car has been restored to new. With less than 5 miles on the vehicle it is as if it just rolled off the assembly line or better. Please see the Ebay photos, youtube video and slideshow I have posted.
