Mercury Capri 1976 Description

"I'm re-listing this with no reserve" I have owned a few Mk1 and Mk2s with the typical interior that is ripped or covered and rust problems but nothing like this one. This is my first Mk3 and one of the nicest I have seen with the cleanest factory interiors and seats and only one crack in the dash by the speaker. This is a rare May made 1976 with the lights and wiper controls on the column. It has factory dual exhaust all the way from the cats back but it might need a hanger or two in the back. There is only one rust spot on the rear quarter that has some rust through the finder as seen in one of the pics. There is the normal 1970s surface rust in the trunk and around the rear hatch and vinyl top and windows. But the floor pans are in perfect shape. The battery tray has some rust in it also but not very bad. The only big dent is in the front on the lower valence you really can’t see it unless you go down on your knees. The body has a few small dents like a 39 year old car has. Both the front windshield and rear hatch rubber is not in the best shape. It could uses 2 front tires but I was going to put 2 new ones on it I have the rim and blown tire it’s in the trunk. There is a little bumper rash on the front passenger side but the rear is in good shape. The break booster is most likely needing some help but the breaks work good. From what I could get off the VIN it is one below the #2 highest interior package you could get. When I saved it from a yard in Washington it had a cracked right side head that’s why I replaced both of them I did the alt belt at the same time and did a complete tune up the only thing I cleaned the fuel system and change the fuel filters so it runs great I have been a few miles on it sense I last posted it. If you saw it last time it had on eBay I have put 16 miles on it and it is a real head turner. I have a video on you-tube under 1976 Capri its 7:12mins long THIS IS A RUNNING AND DRIVING CAPRI FOR THE RIGHT PRICE I WILL DRIVE TO SEA-TACK OR EUGENE I also have the owner’s manual for the car. I have a gas log book from when the person bought it with 4/11/1977 with 11. 88 miles on it. It’s just a paint job away from being supper cool. I haven't seen very many Miami Blue Mk3 Capri’s and even fewer with the factory sun roof. I just replaced #1 heads & head gaskets valve stem seals guides valves are adjusted #2 rebuilt carburetor #3 new cap rotor spark plugs & wires #4 replaced alternator belt #5 new battery I replaced All the failed lights so they work the rear defrost works wipers even the map light even the fasten seat belt lights up this car is just like it rolled off the line.
