Mercury Grand Marquis 1972 Description
Up for sale is my 72 marquis 2 door hard top on bags and with flamethrowers! Runs good, drives good, shifts good, rides decent, 429 with edelbrock carb, manual choke, c6 auto. Plenty of patina and pin stripping. A/C, all there, not working, hide away lights work right.all lights, turn signals, power seat works, passenger window quit working, probably the switch, new gears in the rear windows, good spare, Good heat/defrost, and starts in pretty cold weather. Has 74000 miles, original southern car, very little rust, only what is pictured. 2 viair compressors, manual valves and 1/4 inch line, so no hopping! It's a cruiser anyway. Sits real low, new Coker wide whites and crager wheels with aluminum center caps. Old school flame throwers, operate by choke and kill switch, shoots a pretty good flame, even bigger when it has the giant exhaust tips on it. I have driven it several thousand miles with no issues, did a round trip to Louisville last year for beatersville, no problems. Drivers front seat is torn up, needs new headliner, needs a drivers hood hinge. Any questions ask. Mostly looking to sell, I have too many cars and need to liquidate a few. These big cars are getting more and more popular with shows like mobsteel and counts customs, get one of the coolest ones now, before your priced out of the market!
