Classic 1948 Mercury Convertible. Excellent build of retro-rod beginning with a car in excellent condition. Car has all original steel and trim. No patch panels were used and has original floors and trunk. Very rare for a convertible of this age. This is a dependable fun car to drive with all modern high quality mechanics, yet retaining its original stock appearance.

INTERIOR: six way 03 Cadillac front seats. Rear seat is stock. Vintage air, power steering, power seats, quartz clock, VDO gauges, 4 wheel disc brakes, Flaming River tilt column and wheel, power cloth top with matching boot, single disc CD with IPOD hookup and 4 speakers
DRIVE TRAIN: 302 fuel injected HO out of 1990 Mustang, completely rebuilt and upgraded with mild roller cam, polished Cobra intake, Holley EFI Engine Management System (programmable EFI simplified). The transmission is a FORD AOD out of the same car and totally rebuilt to stock. The rear end is a 8.8 Ford Explorer with 350 posi gears, Rock Valley stainless fuel tank with high performance Walbro fuel pump
SUSPENSION: Heidts Mustang II power rack with disc brakes. Rear suspension is a fiberglass mono leaf from Speedway designed for this car.
BRIGHT WORK: Rock guards are after market. all other is original to the car, restored and polished. NOS door handles and mechanisms
