Mercury Monterey 1951 Description

This auction is for a 1951 Mercury. The Merc was chopped, he old floor was removed and the floor of a 1980 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser was welded in and placed on the same 1980 Olds chassis. The entire body was media blasted and the undercarriage was sprayed with LizardSkin insulation and undercoating. The chassis was media blasted and powder coated. The rear quarters were welded, eadlights were frenched. The body work is done (just needs final finishing), he front grill opening will still need to be finished to whatever grill will be installed. A rebuilt Camaro 350 and trans were installed and a new Painless Wiring harness was being installed then the owner became a family man and thats where this project has stalled and is ready for a new owner to take over. Most of the big work has been completed.
There are a lot of extra parts, ome still being recovered and were not available at the time photos were taken. Here is what is for sure missing: no firewall, he only glass is the rear window, o interior, o front bumper brackets and no tail lights.
