Mercury Montclair 1956 Description

I have for sale/bid a rare 1956 Mercury Montclair 2 door Hardtop. Original 312 CI V8, Auto Transmission. This little Mercury has very little rust! Purchased from dry New Mexico.
The car is extremely straight but does have some minor dings. There is some minor rust areas (See photos) Car does run and drive great but does smoke a little after 15min. or so, I believe it's dried out umbrella seals. I believe the miles read 80,000 but I will have to double check.
The car has been parked since 1972 and still has the original spark plug wires!
As you can see she will need a complete restoration. The interior is there but needs to be re-done.
Floors look great as does the trunk. Maybe one little hole hear and there, nothing that can't be patched up.

Really hate to let her go but need to. Selling with a low reserve and willing to entertain serious offers. Car has a clean and clear title. Of course the vehicle is sold As-Is without warranty expressed or implied.
