Mercury Other 1950 Description
hey everyon, up for auction is my 1950 mercury coupe hotrod . it is a solid rust free California car built new in los angeles and spent its entire life out west til I brought it to texas, o rust or accident, ll body lines are tight and doors fit great with excellent gaps. this car was owned by an exec with a computer company who wanted the look of an original merc but with some added punch so the car was dis assembled and when it went back together a 347 ford sho stroker crate motor and a c-4 automatic went back in along with power anti lock disc brakes on the front and a 9'' ford with drums and posies springsout back along with edelbrock tbi fuel injection.
I have just had the stock mercury front end rebuilt and while it was all apart many of the major parts were powdercoated for durability .plus several items under the hood were sent out and chrome plated just for that extra flash! also I put on new coker bias profile radial tires after the front end was done.
the interior is relatively stockis, nstead of mohair it has viny, ut the seat are the original mercury . keep in mind this car was built close to 20 years ago so the paint and interior do have wear and blemishes. I originally bought this car to build a full kustom wit, ut I was amazed at how nice it was and made the decision not to cut it up. it runs extremely well and in the two years I have owned it, t has yet to leave me stranded.
if you have any questions please ask, know I am forgetting some stuff........ I WILL TRADE FOR THE RIGHT 57 BEL AIR 2 DOOR HARDTOP
