Mercury Comet 1964 Description

Up for auction is this 2 owner Mercury Comet.The car is exceptionally well kept example with only 23,000 original miles. The body is laser straight and rust free with only having 1 repaint a long long time ago. I'm not even sure the whole car has been freshly as it looks like an original paint car to me. I know the door James and trunk area and under the hood has never been touched but the paint on the body is just too nice to be original.Strangely optioned as its a 6 cylinder with an automatic trans. Has pwr steering and brakes but yet is a radio delete car. It's a beautiful car in person that runs and drives great or you can pull the drive train and put in a newer drive train and take it racing. Maybe even make a killer old school gassed out of it. The body and interior needs nothing and the chrome and glass are equally as nice. I have the original paperwork for it from the original selling dealer here in Philadelphia. Sold new at Swenson Ford.Very reasonable reserve on it.
