Oldsmobile 442 1976 Description

In 1976 Oldsmobile built only 9,576 Cutlass cars with the 442 Option. Of that 9,576 only 143 were equipped with the 455 Oldsmobile big block engine. This car is one of those 143 produced which is why I saved it from the storage lot it was sitting in unnoticed. 1976 was the last year you could order a 455 in a 442! The casting numbers on the engine block have been checked and read 396021Fa which is the correct 455 for 1976. This car is a total restoration project but believe it or not it runs good and drives and stops fine. I have only driven it around the storage yard no long distances. Please don't ask me if it will make it here or make it there. It needs a complete mechanical go thru. While it was in storage it got backed into by a pick up truck. It needs a drivers side fender & wheel tub and the hood got bent in the process. The drivers side door operates fine. The lower doors have rust and so does the radiator support near the battery. Along with some other spots on the body. This appears to be an original paint car which is nice what you see is what you get. The trunk floor also has rust and will need attention. The easiest way to restore this car would be with a clean cutlass parts car. The interior has held up well, it has the swivel buckets which operate nice. It also has an 8 trak stereo and A/C The tires are old and will need replacement but the the original wheels are all there. There is a piece of the fiberglass nose broken off but it is in the trunk along with the original air cleaner. This is a TOTAL RESTORATION PROJECT but due to its rarity a very worthy one. I have a clear NC title in my name and I will start this auction at only $1976 with NO RESERVE There are 23 photos loaded CLICK ON AND HOLD MOUSE OVER PHOTOS FOR CLOSE UPS Study the photos what you see is what you get. I would love to see this car go to someone who will do the right thing with it (I own a black/gold 1977 442 so I have a soft spot for these cars)Thank you for looking and be sure to read and understand the terms of this auction below GOD BLESSSORRY NO TRADES!TERMS AND CONDITIONS1.$500 DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 24 hours of auctions end by Pay Pal2.BALANCE MUST BE PAID WITHIN 72 HOURS OF AUCTIONS END BY BANK TO BANK TRANSFER OR CASH IN PERSON ONLYNO CHECKS OF ANY KIND WILL BEACCEPTEDOR HELD TILL CLEAR3.Car is sold AS IS with no warranty expressed or implied4.Bidders with zero feedbacks must contact me first before bidding
