Oldsmobile Cutlass 1987 Description

Up for auction is a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass GT. You might be asking what is an Olds Cutlass GT – it was a special dealer option produced by Top Trends out of NC. This car came with a hood scoop, rear wing, decal package, two tone paint, bucket seats with console and a dash plaque. It also had a little beefier suspension with a rear sway bar. There are several things that make this car very unique. The first is that it only has 24K original miles. Yes, you read that correctly – it’s still basically a brand new car. The other is that it comes with documentation showing it as one of the prototype cars used for the GT package. For this reason, it does not have one of the dash plaques that are typically present. The maroon interior is in superb condition with just a little fading on the top of the door panels. Otherwise it’s just like it came out of the dealership showroom. I actually found some of the original factory plastic seat cover hooked under the passenger side seat. The engine is the original Olds 307 and runs incredibly smooth. The 200r4 trans shifts perfectly. The car is incredibly clean and really speaks for itself. The only thing I’ve found that doesn’t work seems to be the windshield washer pump. Everything else on the car works as it should including the power antenna. The power windows go up and down very nicely. The trunk is clean and there is no rust on this car anywhere. A few small problems it does have are that it is missing the front passenger side molding. The hood scoop also started coming loose, so I took it off and it is no longer stuck on the car, but it will come with it. I really do hate to sell this car, but I have another project I need to get completed and I also need the space in my garage for that car when it is done. That car is in storage right now, so alas I have to send this one on. The pictures speak for themselves, but feel free to ask any questions you may have. Enjoy some fall cruising with this thing. It runs and drives like a dream. It has all the options too - tilt wheel, cruise control, power steering and brakes, 4 speed overdrive transmission, power antenna and A/C. Cruise in comfort with this one. It really takes you back to a different time. Please also note the pictures of the 100th anniversary owner's manual and important documentation about the car's history. Buyer needs to pay a non-refundable $500 payment within 48 hours. The remainder of the balance is due within 7 days, so please don’t bid if you can’t pay. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs or for picking it up in person.
