Acquired from an Estate Liquidation is this Grandma's car that sat in her attached garage in North Idaho for 8 years while she was in a nursing home. A neighbor started and drove it once a week up until he got too old to do it about 4 years ago. It was just a little dusty but after a wash job. I can't believe the condition. No dents. no paint problems. no rusted panels. no pitted chrome. no cracked or damaged glass no weathered vinyl top or trim. Plastic covers on the carpets and clean inside. Wire wheel covers on great tires make it look and ride awesome. All bone stock! Looks and feels like the 41k miles showing on the 5 digit odometer are truly the only original miles. I trailered it when I picked it up because the batteries were of course dead but they are recent AC Delco gel cell batteries. I charged 'em up while I checked all the fluids (all were good and full). I hit the key. watched the wait light for the glow plugs to go out. and it fired right up and idled smoothly and ran for the next hour while I put some Lucas injector cleaner in it and marveled at this beautiful. all original. piece of General Motors History. It's got fresh diesel in it now and even runs smoother and quieter. You know what. the AC even works as well as the heater. and the factory radio. everything! Well not everything. the clock only runs for a few minutes but you have to tap on it first. The transmission was the only problem it had. No reverse. So. I had it professionally and completely overhauled and it works great and carries a local warranty.
