WOW what a find. This week Canyon State Classics brings to eBay this beautiful 1960 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 convertible in great condition inside and out. This car is a gorgeous example of the early 60's drop top. Although production was not particularly low, very few examples survived the ravages of time, rust, and being used up and driven into the ground and are nearly extinct!
This car was just finished up after receiving a "Freshtoration" by our talented team here at Canyon State Classics. The car is a solid, rust free example with all options...even Factory A/C. This car is finished in its original color and looks stunning floating down the road. Interior is very clean and recently freshened up. The exterior on the car is an absolutely stunning color combination. The car is a solid dry weather car, and with the low miles you don't have to worry about any rust whatsoever, just see how clean all of the door jambs look and tire well look! The car is refinished in its original color of Black. The paint is absolutely beautiful and has just been professionally wet-sanded and buffed. The chrome and trim is all freshly cleaned or re-polished and looks amazing with all of the near impossible to find emblems and grill in awesome condition. All rubbers on the car are the original seals from brand new, but are in suprisingly excellent condition! The cars look is finished off with gorgeous 15" Chrome Spoke hubcaps with the 88 logo in the middle, and wrapped in radial white walls.
The gray/White vinyl interior is in exceptional condition and has been redone within the last few years. The seats are in great shape and have been very well taken care of. The dash and all door panels are beautiful and look like new! The carpet throughout as well as the headliner were redone, but correct original visors retained. The steering wheel has the original horn button and does show age cracking. All gauges and lights work correctly, and even the original AM radio works great.
Mechanically, this Olds runs GREAT! This car features the original numbers matching 371ci which really moves this beauty. Everything is fresh and ALL fluids in the car were gone through including brakes and even the rear differential. The engine compartment is clean and original in appearance and has been freshened up. The A/C system has been completely gone through and is in excellent working condition. This car literally starts right up on the first bump of the key and all systems work like new.
All in all, RARE doesn't even begin to describe this one of a kind low mileage '60 Olds convertible. It has been professionally reconditioned and truly loved by its previous owners. These 60's era drop topss are becoming more and more collectible as the older ones disappear into collections, especially well maintained low mileage western cars like this example.
