Oldsmobile Cutlass 1984 Description

Please ask questions if you need more information. I can post pictures of what ever you need
This Classic baby, although currently in Pennsylvania has only been here for four winters and was not driven on our salty roads more than several times. Originally from Alabama, Bill brought it here in 2012 when he moved back to PA. Alabama has no inspections but PA does. He had dummy catalytic converters put on the car to pass inspection but it is increasingly hard to get it inspected which is one reason he is letting it go.
It has a transmission leak around the bolts and we do not have a place to tear the car down to do repairs.
Car is sold as is so please inspect it before making payment.
The engine is a crate engine 354. (350 bored 40 over)
Hurst race shifter
Tires have less than 100 miles .
The car is a fixer upper
but with the expertise and loving care of a proper gear head with time and the money to do the work would be a stunning beast.
Need a headliner.
The car is not "pretty" but it is a good running, solid, not rusted car, it needs someone who wants to spend time on it.
Frankly, Bill does not want to invest what spare time he has into it.
The reason there is a new front clip is that a small deer walked into the very center of the grill. And cracked the two flaps. About a year later We actually found this clip over grown by weeds and had it installed. PS...yes we picked up the deer and ate the meat. It was young so it was tender !!
The drivers door panel is boogered because a tire blew off and scrapped it.
We have a bunch of parts that go with the car.
The console is hand made of red oak.
Miles listed as 111111 because the engine was rebuilt.
New dash gauges were installed
The car was run on the track at Tuscaloosa Alabama and posted time trials there.
The car resides in Greensburg and is available for pick up here. The inspection ran out at the end of May 2016.
I, Myself personally drove it from Alabama to Pa when Bill moved back and it is a dream to drive. It literally feels like you are floating above the highway when you sit at a light and idle Bill says it does that because of 3/4 race cam.
Here is why we are selling it.1. Bill got his 1984 pickup on the road,2. Inspection, yearly registrations and upkeep cost money and working at Walmart and paying for child support doesn't leave much money left for repairs on a car we don't need to have.3. No garage to put it down and to work on it.
If we don't sell it this week we are going to have to scrap it to get it off the street as PA law says to be parked on the street we need a valid registration.PLEASE GIVE THE BABY A NEW HOME !!!!
