Oldsmobile Cutlass 1967 Description

Your are looking at a 1967 Olds Cutlass 4 door sedan with an LS swap. This car was a project car for myself and my son for him when he was ready to drive. The car has proven to be too much car (as in too big) and a little too much power for him at this time in his driving career.

As a result we are offering it for sale. It was meant to be a tribute car to the Impala driven by the Winchesters in the hit TV series, Supernatural.

I wanted a car that was reliable and would be easier and safer for him to drive. Thus I decided on a LS swap with 4 speed auto.

What the car was when we got it:

1967 Red Olds Cutlass, 330 2 brl V8; Powerglide, 2 speed automatic transmission, single exhaust, 4 door sedan, Georgia car, very little rust, power steering, factory A/C, no power 4 wheel drum brakes, AM radio (did not work) with black and white seat covers. Frame, floorboard and trunk all in good shape, no major rust issues.

What the car has now:

Engine and Transmission:

Engine and drivetrain (done locally at a professional shop for all installation of all major components):

2002 Chevrolet truck 5.3 L v8 motor, used with approximately 145K on it when we got it, about 150K now; complete with computer and OBDII port in the interior of the car.

2002 Chevrolet 4 speed, 4l60E trans, not sure on the mileage, but works great.

To install the engine and trans:

New Dirty dingo motor mount adapters with New 1967 Chevelle small block stock motor mounts.

New LS swap shorty camaro style stainless steel shorty headers.

New Custom brackets purchased for the accessories including the 2002 A/C compressor.

Stock Olds crossmember for the trans installation.

New Cadillac CTSV oil pan and oil pickup to increase clearance to the ground.

Custom made cold air intake to the throttle body.

GT 500 intercooler reservoir tank as coolant reservoir.

New Three row aluminum radiator. (car runs cool all the time).

Reman power steering pump.

New Frame mounted Walbro 255 GPH electric fuel pump

New OEM style gas tank with new straps and new strap insulators.

New tank sending unit.

New DynoMax 3” mufflers

Custom made 442 style badges that say, “ 5.3 2” instead of “ 4 4 2”; one on each fender, one on the trunk lid and one on the grille.

What will it come with?

New rubber spacers that go between the body and the bumpers, front and rear.

New 24 gallon (stock is 20 gallon) fuel tank with in tank pump and venting.

Some of the chrome and other outside appearance stuff we didn’t want to put back on the car.

All hardware, emblems and other stuff that originally came on the car that we kept.

What does it need?

Gas tank replaced as the fuel pump is taxing the relay so the car will come with a replacement fuel system. Also the OEM style tank, due to the venting and the electric pump system, allows gas to go out when the tank is full so the venting is an issue with it the way it is. It runs fine and no issues driving other than leaking out when full. Also, due to no baffling in the tank, when the gas level is low, can run out of fuel on sharp corners. This is why I have the new tank for the car that will come with the car.

A/C system to be finished being hooked up

Interior door jamb windlace

Spare tire and jack

Alignment, although car runs straight.

A couple of small rust bubbles came up after the paint in the lower quarter.

Both bumpers need to be re-chromed and the rear has a dent that needs to be fixed that was on the car when purchased.
