Oldsmobile 442 1967 Description

1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Convertible Restomod
Vehicle has about 300 miles on it since being put together.
Engine: 2002 ls1 camaro ss 4l60e transmission. Engine was sent to machine shop and completely rebuilt with all new internals including a big Gm PERFORMANCE cam & pistons(sounds amazing) Aftermarket cold air intake, all new sensors, msd wires, all new starter, alt, Holly p/s pump with relocation bracket, only thing not new on engine is intake and fuel rails. Around 425 hp but have not had on dyno.
Cooling: Griffin radiato, electric fans and chrome overflow tank
Braking: Brand new Gm performance front disc kit includes booster, master cyl, calipers & rotors. New brake lines . Rear factory drums
Fuel: Gm A body Ls replica gas tank supplied with holly high flow fuel pump in tank.
Convertible: brand new convertible top mounted on original frame. Motor, pumps/cyls, hose kit, heaDer bo, latches and hardware all new.
Under Carriage: With the vehicle as a roller, entire under carriage was sanded down and coated.
Rear: Factory Oldsmobile 12 bolt rear end with factory gears . 3.42 or 3.56? Rear end was completely sanded and sprayed.
Interior: Carpet, door panels, front and rear armrests, handles & hardware all new from Year one. Procar front seats are new, factory back seat was wrapped and stitched to match pattern on front seats. Billions & Trillions in Oklahoma restored the dash. New dash pad, original glove box dash in good shape. Billet steering wheel. Center console is original and outfitted with 442 badges. Heater core is new. Non a/c car
Suspension: Factory front control arms with new bushings, new front & rear shocks and springs. New factory rear boxed control arms and sway bar. New alignment.
Electronics: Brand new Dakota Digital dash & affordable fuel injection harness and computer & fuse box( installed nicely in glove box) for control the ls1. Currently no radio is installed in vehicle.
Wheels: Brand new Boss 18x7 front, 18x9 rear wrapped in new W rated tires.
Body: Body is laser straight. All the floors and trunk were in perfect condition before build. Floors and doors were coated with dynomat type material for reduced noise.
Paint: Paint is 20 yrs. old! It is a good driver quality paint not a show quality. It presents it self well but still has it flaws. Some scratches, chips etc here and there but still shines well as shown in pics. Car was originally red, blown apart and repainted black.
Chrome: All chrome on car is complete. Front & rear bumpers are new as well as rear tail light bezels. Front headlight bezels painted black. Chrome around convertible top, driver mirror & vent windows starting to show there original age (pitting). All other chrome in great shape and not beat up.
History: Always a South Carolina / Georgia car with clean and clear GEORGIA title in my name. Vehicle only had roughly 65k miles on body/chassis.
Cons: I am going to be completely honest here as if I was buying a car online. Vehicle only has about 300 miles since being put together from a roller. With that being said there are still some things that need to be worked out. When driving the vehicle there are a few squeaks here and there as things are settling and need to be tighten up ( i.e squeak in dash etc). Computer needs final tune and fuel trim levels and air levels adjusted as it is running rich( check engine light on from running rich). I did not get final tune until Dakota Digital dash was installed as the computer controls the rpm's on dash. Everything works on digital dash except rpm', tune will take care of that. Convertible top frame was recently installed and now needs vent windows, and front and rear windows aligned to top to seal completely. The windows will cost about $100- $200 to get adjusted and computer tune $300. I will say that this vehicle runs, drives and cruises at 70 Mph with no problems. Original trunk lock recently was removed and will come with the vehicle. If there is anything else I am missing it's minor. If you have any questions fell free to ask.
Closing: All in all this is a cool car. Gets tons of attention everywhere I go and rare as only 3,080 convertibles were produced. Took it to its first local car show in Georgia over the weekend and took first place for " Best old school custom" competing against 60 other cars in its class. I truly believe this car won because not only do you not see this body style, but its a custom restomod. This vehicle is meant to be a very nice driver, with plenty of performance and 20 mpg's. There was a lot of money spent on this vehicle. Almost everything to put this car together was purchased new.
Warranty: Vehicle is being sold where is as is condition and no current warranty is implied with sale. Buyer's are free to inspect the vehicle at any time. I reserve the right to end the auction early as it 'stands getting tons of attention at local car shows and cruise nights. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. I would suggest an enclosed trailor since windows are not sealed to convertible top.
