Oldsmobile 442 1970 Description

1970 442 M21 4 Speed Convertible


This is an authentic 442 Twilight Blue convertible. In 1970, only 549 442 convertible 4 speeds were built. This is one of the few remaining! Under the hood is the correct 455 ci big block with an Eldebrock Torker intake manifold and Edelbrock Performer 1411 four barrel carburetor. The car has power steering and power brakes. It has an electric choke. It also has vintage Mickey Thompson finned aluminum valve covers. It has a clean engine bay. The interior is spotless in the correct ivory color, code 977, with the correct vinyl interior including strato bucket seats and a center console with a hurst shifter. Dash is in good condition all gauges including the tic tock tach function correctly and gauge lenses are clear. Built in Lansing in the second week of May 1970. This car performs, drives and shows beautifully. Included in the sale are a cover for the car, a few spare parts, 442 fender covers, a complete 1970 Oldsmobile Chassis Service Manual and a 1970 Cutlass/442 Assembly Manual.

Side glass is in good condition.

Option D35 color matched Sports-Styled rear view mirrors with left side remote.

Body is arrow straight with no dings or dents and and great fit between all body panels.

Doors align perfectly with the body. The jams and lips are clean and rust free.

Quarter panels are straight and rust free.

Trunk lid is excellent inside and out with correct interior decal.

Minor paint flaws between deck lid and convertible top.

The exterior of the car is in excellent condition.

All Emblems and chrome are in great shape.

White convertible top, code A, correct.

Convertible top is flawless and functions perfectly.

Boot for top is in excellent condition.
