1971 Oldsmobile 442 4 Speed Coupe Code 13 Platinum Silver Code 930 Black Bucket SeatsRally ClusterSport WheelDisk Brakes (front)Power SteeringREAL DEAL 344 VIN 4 Speed 442If you are looking for a perfect all numbers matching W-30 this car is not for you. Here is what the car is. a all original super solid uncut floors and trunk dry in its original platinum silver with all original and almost mint black interior. (one seam split in drivers seat). original AM/FM radio. The chrome and trim are all in excellent condition. The car is a one repaint 55k mile car. Tick -Tock-Tach. rally cluster. ect. The car runs and drives fantastic with a fresh 1971 455 396021 casting motor which is original to the car. the transmission is a Muncie 392566 casting with no date code i can find but was recently rebuilt. along with the shifter. I'm not going to advertise the car as a real W-30. insofar as I was not around 44 years ago when it was built. The rear end is the original TM code rear original to the car. The hood is the original OAI piece which is rust free with the original date code under the hood. This car is a super solid example of a Lansing built 442 with a completely rebuilt drivetrain with less than 1000 miles on it. $13000 was recently spent on the car rebuilding the whole drivetrain. and boy does she run great. auxillary gauges were added under the dash for safety of the engine vital signs. The car needs nothing to drive and enjoy. This car is very fast and reliable with excellent attention to detail. I would rate the interior a 8. only because the seam split in the seat. I would rate the exterior a 7. not for any reason other than there are some touch ups because the paint is some 20 years old but is still great for a driver. The car is very straight. The drivetrain is a 10. the car starts easy. runs great. and is dead nuts reliable. Any questions or concerns please call me at any reasonable hour312 622 7533
