Oldsmobile Cutlass 1976 Description
Up for sale is a very nice nearly original 76 Cutlass with only 53,000 miles. I have and will include documentation of miles through Oklahoma annual inspection receipts. Not complete but would be hard to argue that miles are not original even if car didn't look the part. The only modifications made are air shocks to the rear that allow for an athletic stance if desired. Exhaust has also been replaced and has a sporty rumble with nice tone. Not obnoxious at all just enough to make you want to crowd accelerator at every opportunity, t least if you are a red blooded American!! Car was also repainted, ut very professionally done. I looked and looked and finally found a small overspray area that leads me to believe that the vinyl top is also original. Vinyl top has two area of shrinkage shown in photographs. Otherwise, op is very good-no holes or sun damage that need attention in near future. Rest of car is original down to the AM/8 Track in dash and R-12 A/C which still blows cool air. Not cold but cool, nbsp;am sure it needs charged Was not important to me as we used for evening drives cruising main and around our nearest small towns. 350CI engine runs well and powerful. Automatic transmission shifts our smooth as well. Interior is all very nice with no rips, ears and very minimal wear. Dash is very good-no cracks whatsoever. Carpet is clean and not worn at all for age of car. Glass is all perfect no pits or cracks. Headliner is tight and clean. I have seen a lot of 2005 and newer vehicles with these miles that were not in this condition. This comment from searches for two son's 1st vehicles in the last 6 months. There is a lot of junk out there that has not seen any care or cleaning. This car is an example of the opposite. This has been a baby its whole life and deserves a good home that appreciates her for what she is. Part of the reason the buy it now is what it is. I do not want to see this "donked", owered, r otherwise molested as to destroy all the hard work and care that went in to preserving this car as it is. I am not a collector and do not have extensive knowledge of the details of badging, nd little nuances that Detroit obviously did. If you do not believe this car is represented for what it is please move on a keep looking for what you want. I do not have time to answer and argue endless questions. If you are like me and appreciate these cars in any form and like what you see, lease get to bidding. I am not out to misrepresent and get to anyone!!! Deposit is not refundable but if it is not what you expect when you get here please feel free to walk away no hard feelings. I can not imagine anyone being disappointed. I also am putting up a 1975 Cutlass Supreme H/O W-30 as well. I included a pic of the two together and yes the black one is for sale too. See my other ads. Too many vehicles, ust need to consolidate as driveway is full. Thanks for looking and good luck. I would rather answer questions in person than email so please feel free to call 308-883-6718.
