Oldsmobile 442 1969 Description

THIS IS A REAL 442 NOT a "CLONE"or "TRIBUTE" car.

This car has undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration 6 years ago. It has been driven less than 2000 miles since then.

It is refinished with DuPont "Chroma base" and then 4 coats of clear. The stripe is cleared over to be smooth. Every stitch of the interior is as it was born. Correct fabrics on the seats, oor panels, nd headliner as well as the correct carpet. This is not a thrown together vehicle. The cost of the restoration was in excess of 45K in 2009.

• 455 H.O. engine bored .030 over standard crankshaft
• 365 H.P. - 510 FT. LBS TORQUE
• This is the STOCK ratings
• In addition it has had headers and a larger Carburetor (750 cfm edelbrock) added
• 2-1/2 inch exhaust with 2 chamberFLOWMASTER mufflers
• Custom wheels and tires
• Rear air shocks
• Aluminum radiator
• Power brakes
• Power steering
• Factory air conditioning

This restoration was performed on a very nice original 2 owner car that had always been well-cared for. Being a nice "donor" it has been brought back to its former state after being completely disassembled, efinished, epaired, nd/or rebuilt. There is NOTHING on this car that has NOT been addressed with the exception of the air conditioning. All glass is good and all bright metal is also in very nice condition. All gauges/instruments work as designed and it is not in need of anything that I am aware of.

As with any 45+ year old car it will NEVER be perfect. But what you see in the photos is actually in better condition today than the day it was produced.
