Oldsmobile 442 1969 Description

This auction is for a rare 1969 Oldsmobile 442 with the W-32 Option. Only 247 Hardtops were built 25 were Convertibles and 25 were Post models. This is one of the Hard top Models. The car came Triple Black 400 V-8 Ram Rod Motor Automatic Trans (onlyavailablewith Automatic in this option) Power Steering Power Front Disc Brakes Buckets Seats with Console Floor Shift Power Rear Antenna Tinted Glass Plastic Teak Steering Wheel Vinyl Roof and Rallye Wheels. The interior in the car is in above average condition. Dash is very nice with no cracks. Decent original headliner. Original upholstery on the seats but drivers seat top bolster left side has wear through. Carpets are aged. All glass is in good shape. The original matching numbers motor was rebuilt a short period of time ago. An electronic ignition distributor was used but we have the correct numbered distributor that belongs to the car. The body on the car will need some attention. Bottom of both front fenders outer rear quarter lips and a couple of areas in the trunk pan need attention. Frame is good and solid floors are real decent but we did see a spot just starting to break through on the floor pan just above the transmission cross member. Obviously the car needs paint and a new vinyl top but the roof is nice and solid. Car runs drives and stops fine. The car has the original Dual Snorkel Breather but is missing the hoses that attach to the inner fenders and the air scoops that mount under the front bumper. These areavailablethrough Oldsmobile venues. Basically a car that you can drive and fix as you go along. Some original paperwork will come with the car. The reserve is set very fair for what the car is. We have all proper dealer paperwork and a Maine transferable registration should you need a title in your state. We require a $500 non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auctions end. Payment in full 3 days of auctions end unless otherwise arranged. If you have less than 25 feedback please contact us prior to bidding so we know that you intend to follow through with the sale should you win the auction. We reserve the right to end the auction early in case of a local sale. If car meets reserve we will let the auction run to the end to be fair to all bidders.
