Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser 1990 Description

This 1990 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser has been well maintained by the original owner. Paint is 100% original. Garage kept since purchased in 1990.Absolutely no rust on the vehicle. Never been driven in snow. This car has never been in any sort of an accident. The car has current Pennsylvania state inspection. It was the last year for the Oldsmobile V8. The 307 starts easily and runs smoothly. The transmission shifts as it should. It drives like a new vehicle and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
Please note that this vehicle does NOT havewood grainsides. This car was purchased to replace a 1978CustomCruiser when it became apparent that General Motors was redesigning the car for the 1991 model year. The owner did not like the look of the newer body style. At the time of purchase the owner looked hard for a Custom Cruiser without the tacky fake wood sides and in this body style. Compared to the 1978 Custom Cruiser this car isquieter, ides smoother, nd handles better.
This automobile is mechanically excellent and original except for wear items such as belts and fluid changes. The exhaust system has recently been replaced from thecatalytic converter to the rear of the car with Walker OEequivalent parts. TheAir conditioning fully functional and will get incredibly cold if you desire. The system still operates on the original R-12 refrigerant. There was never a reason to repair it or to convert to the R-134a refrigerant. The Michelin tires are in very good condition and are mounted on the factory optional light alloy wheels. There is a full size spare mounted on a steel rim in the car and theoriginal compact spare is included.
The interior is absolutely like new. Smells like a new car. NEVER been smoked in. The headliner has been replaced. Original carpets and floor mats are clean. Nochildren were hauled in this car. The owners family were adults when this car waspurchased, o there was never any sticky spills in the car. Nothing was ever hauled in the rear except for suitcase or two. The tailgate is fully functional. It opens in both directions without issue. The power window works fine as do all the power windows. The drivers power seat works like new. All of the original owners manuals and other paperwork provided with the car when it was new are included in the original Oldsmobile folio.
The 100% original paint is clean and shiny but does show signs of use. It couldbenefitfrom a professional detailing. There are some light marks in the paint which would probably polish out. There is the odd chip in various places around the car. Not being a professional detailer, have elected to leave the car as is and not risk causing more harm than good.
There are some issues that may need to be addressed. The fuel gauge recently has begun to read full at all times. The radio power switch failed and has been bypassed. The speakers probably need replacement. The power antenna isinoperative. There is currently a hidden antenna in the dash that allows for FM reception only. There is a small area of damage on the roof caused by a falling object. The rubber strip on the rear bumper is cracked. There is slight damage at one or the rear wheel openings. One of the wheel center caps is stained. SEEPICTURES.
