Plymouth Other 1963 Description

This car is a 1963 Plymouth Savoy 4 Door Sedan, his car is original and has been in Illinois it's entire life. I've had this car for a little over a year and a half, ought it to restore, ut nothing has happened in the past year and it's time for it to go to someone who will enjoy as it's been getting neglected and I don't have time for this car anymore sadly. The car was purchased by Mr. Harry Hughes in Bloomington ILL. in July of 1963, his car has 4 options Heat, ower Steering, ushbutton Automatic Transmission, nd Front Lap Seat Belts. I have done a lot to this car in the time I have owned it, ew lower radiator hose, ew exhaust, ew fuel tank, ew shocks (all 4;) new fuel filter, ew plugs and wires, ew thermostat, oolant flush & fill, riginal copper radiator was leaking, t was boiled out, ll leaks were repaired, nd it was installed back into the car, o issues since. Also has had the brakes serviced, hey all work fine. A used parking brake cable was installed off of a 1963 Belvedere that was in a scrap yard, t also works just fine. The car only needs a few mechanical things to be completely sound, ut it runs and drives fine as it sits. The gas gauge is no longer working (I suspect the forgot to re-connect the fuel level sending unit line after they installed the new gas tank.) and the heat control valve under the dash is starting to leak a bit of coolant (part to rebuild it is $11.00 at NAPA Auto Parts, just don't have the time to rebuild it.) the car starts fine and drives fine, don't drive it as I have dropped insurance, t was in a locked garage and I thought it wasn't needed as it was not being driven. The previous owner has glued a heavy duty foam to the front seat as he told me it was down to the springs and he was driving the car daily. It has a seat cover over the foam, ut it is beginning to tear and fall apart. Back seat has a tear, ut is not down to the springs. THE CAR HAS RUST, oth rear quarter panels are rusting, oth front fenders have begun to crack and bubble from behind the front tires, assenger side inner splash panel has rusted out, t has one (1) small hole on the drivers side front floor pan by the dimmer switch, s small enough to be patched. Take into mind this car is original, as been driven in most of the winters it's been around to experience, nd is ready to continue to be driven, r restored. I have decided that since I have not put anything or done anything to this car in almost a year that it is time for it to move on as I can't do anything anymore. The car is located in Champaign, LL. It is posted on the local craigslist (chambana.craiglist.org) and the location of the car is provided there. It is outside in a cul-de-sac for all "tire kickers" to come take a look. The car comes with the following; Original Owners Manual, OS Parking brake assembly (also from the Belvedere;) NOS 1963 MOPAR Radio (UNTESTED,) all front end bushings, rivers side idler arm, nd original AMCO wiper arms that all came with it when I purchased it. The price is firm at $2,625.00, he ebay fees are included in that price that are charged on my end, s I WILL NOT take a dime under $2,500.00 I have a clean ILL title in both my name and my mother's (I was 17.5 at the time I purchased the car so I needed her name on the title, oth of us have signed it, ut not dated it.) The only issue with the title is the mileage is filled in at 79,976 miles (The car currently has 80,423.3 miles) the reason being is I tried to sell about a year ago, ad an interested party, hey drove to the bank to pay for the car, ut never returned. I had partially filled out the title thinking it was sold. If you don't have a problem with that wonderful, f you do, e can mark the title "Not the actual mileage" and both of the owners will sign a paper explaining why. Also has Bill of Sale to go with it. DMV is a mile from my house so you can settle the title & tags the same day as purchased. Thanks for looking and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
