just pointed outby a bidder (seemessages) the car was resprayed at some point, o factory color andquality.
we had no idea. we now know this, ecausethe fender welts are painted overwhich implies at the very least a blend job.previous (2nd) owner provided info that it was originalpaintand the finish is more than believable, ot our claim.anyway, ust wanted toclarify and disclose. an honest oversight provided by false information...we are no expert of thisparticular make/model.all other info is known to be 100% true.On Feb-22-16 at 16:54:12 PST, eller added the following information:
getting some flak for my use of "original" inreferenceto this car, want to clarify...it's simply notrestored or brought back to new ormodernized. it's verymuch so, n as-it-was work truck with the use-patina to prove it.it's a charming work wagon and it shows its age gracefully...please do not get sohung up on that. I'm notclaiming this to be somearchaic barn-find.
i.e.: the steering wheel forexample is a '51-52 swap and I do have the original to be included.the peep mirrormounted to the door was also added...yes.

forgot to add the exhaust isstraight piped...mufflers were simply cut off and turned down.it has a nice sound...nothing too loud or obnoxious; this is just a six banger, ut it fits the car andstrange perfectly.
lastly, hecar wasproperly was converted to 12-volt...forgot to mention that as well.
