Plymouth Barracuda 1968 Description

What we have here is a very nice Plymouth Barracuda that has lived most of it's life in the high deserts of Southern California. It's got it's number matching 318 2 Barrel Automatic engine and transmission. The rear end was upgraded to an 8 3/4 and it has 4 wheel drum breaks. The car is currently running on old Keystone classics wheels. It does have power steering,. The original radiator was upgraded to an aluminium, hich keeps it running nice and cool. It is the highest rated 318 at 240 horsepower, nd the car does get up and scoot. The car just came back from the alignment shop, nd it goes nice and straight down the road. All the gauges on the dash work fine, ut the speedometer does not work all the time . It probably needs to be lubed or greased. The car does have headers on it, lthough they are smashed on the bottom and the exhaust tips turn down at the rear end. This car is very solid and rust free. The bumpers have been rechromed, nd all the trim and emblems are intact. The car is very complete. All the lights work properly. It does have a new front windshield.
The interior is in really good shape, ith new headliner, arpet, nd reupholstered front seats. The rear seats are original, nd have some cracks in them. All the windows work, nd even the original AM radio works.
This is a 48 year old car, nd I am trying to describe it to the best of my ability, ut it is possible I missed something.
The car is currently in Lakeside, ast of San Diego. It drives nice around town, ut I haven't gone on any long trips in it. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, ut we will help take it to a shipping yard if needed.
But if you are a East Coast rust bucket-driving, EMI MOPAR fan, his is a nice chance to get a nice solid car.
