- Met, photographed & documented the Original Owner who ordered the car new based on the Motor Trend Car of the Year in 1969 which was a “T5 Metalic Copper Roadrunner 4 speed Hemi Coupe”. Also have the full owner history since new! He bought the Hemi RR new at Lucky's Chrysler Plymouth in "Little Norway" Poulsbo, Washington - See photo of original dealer license plate surround (comes with original WA plate too).
See Photo of “Charlie Barnes” who factory ordered the car brand new from Lucky’s Chrysler Plymouth in September 1968 and is holding the original Licence plate surround from the car since 1969. It was exciting to finally track him down at the same property he has lived on since 1964. Charlie stated that when he took delivery of his new Hemi Road Runner the HEMI emblem on the trunk was not there and that there were no Road Runner Bird decals applied to the car either. (Now had NOS Bird Decals) The original paint Trunk lid have no drill holes for the HEMI emblem as proof of this. The Roadrunner has a super interesting and amazing history which would take too long to type….. but it is worth hearing….. if you want. Contact for the full story.
