Plymouth Barracuda 1971 Description

This was a rust free survivor car from Colorado. It was stored in an airport hanger for years! Former owner had rebuilt the motor. carbs. . and trans. The car was running and very nice. The paint was original but there was a small dent in front left fender and a small dent in deck lid. The new owner wanted it painted because of the defects. The seats were torn in seams so seat covers were replaced. as well as carpet and headliner. The rim blow is original as is door panels. seat belts. console. shifter. and windows. The underside is original. factory undercoat still there as is exhaust. rear end. and Six pac K frame. The body is very nice and straight with almost no bondo. ( Less than a pint ). All factory defaults were left on the car. Most smooth these out but we wanted it to look like it came! In the pics you can see caulking in the trunk. on the Shaker hood there are waves from where the hole was cut and crimped. As from factory. The grill and parking lights are original. Bumpers are rechromed originals. not after market. We pulled the numbers matching motor in storage and added a '70 Six Pack fresh rebuilt. We also went into the trans to check it out. The original motor goes with. Runs. but missing carbs and intake. On car now. Original trans was long gone. We spent 3 months in cleanup and has 50 miles since. There are no chips. dings. or scratches! Original buildsheet. before and after cleanup pics and prior appraisal before cleanup! Very impressive expert assessment! With loads of paperwork !
