1963 Plymouth Valiant
Signet V-200 Convertible
What a cool little car! The 1963 Valiant, ith it's beautiful restyling, aused sales to soar compared to other years. It was, nd still is, desirable car!The 200 is equipped with a nearly bullet proof Inline 6-Cyl Engine that runs beautifully.Manual 'On the Tree' Transmission Am Radio and Heater / Defroster are great options to have. Our Valiant comes with a newer top and is regularly maintained.
This Signet has had a few patches and repairs as well as paint done throughout its life.
Exterior still provides a glossy finish and still looks good close and far.
The interior appears to be original and it is very clean, oor panel vinyl has shrunk a bit over the years.
Mechanically this car is a little monster! Starts right up and runs great. The transmission shifts smooth and effortlessly.
Overall a nice classic Mopar to get you out there enjoying some sunshine.
Wikipedia says,,,The Valiant was totally re skinned for 1963 with a 0.5 in (13 mm) shorter wheelbase; it had a wide, lat hood and a flat square rear deck. The upper belt feature line ran from the rear body, n a gentle sweep, o the front fender tip. The roof-line was flatter and sharpened in profile. The grille was a variation of the inverted trapezoid shape with a fine mesh insert. Advances in body structure, any accessories and a new spring-staged choke were promotional highlights. The Valiant was offered as a 2-door coupe or hardtop, 4-door sedan and a station wagon. The 1963 Valiant was much better received by the public, nd sales for the year rose to 225,056. This car is certainly a valuable collectible and head turner when you take it out for a cruise.
