Plymouth Barracuda 1966 Description
1966 Plymouth Barracuda, needs restoration. This was a 273 V8 Automatic transmission car from the factory. The 273 engine was frozen solid and recycled/salvaged. I purchased a 318 motor and completely rebuilt it (I have receipts). Rings, bearings, water pump, fuel pump and more. The 318 engine is presently on an engine stand as I have not restored the engine bay yet so I did not want to install it. It can be put in easily for shipping and hauling purposes. Body is all original, unmolested, no bondo, no wrecks, Original white paint. Has the usual floor and trunk rust/holes. Panels are readily available and reasonably priced on line. All glass, interior, seats, molding, lights, handles and dash are in tact. It also comes with the after market and an original Mopar AC compressor. It presently has an after market ac unit under dash unit. Now the really great news!!The car comes with the original 904 automatic transmission AND I purchased a 4 speed tranny and bell housing as I was going to modify her to a 4 speed car. No cutting or modification has been done yet for the 4 speed install. The tranny and bell housing alone cost me over $1000.00. 4 speed tranny's for this body style are very rare.
