A few months ago, we purchased this 1946 PlymouthBusiness 2-Door Coupe rolling chassis out of Kentucky on eBay to build a HEMI street rod for one of our customers. Unfortunately, he lost his job in the oil industry so he’s reluctantly forced to sell.

Thecustomerpurchased many NOS or newer, and good used parts for the rebuild at a cost of over $1,500.00,which are included in the sale, see below.

We were told the carwas running/drivingbefore the previous Kentucky owner decided to rebuild it, but ill health forced the sale.

Mostly solid all steel body is sitting on 1997 Toyota Tacoma frame withnewer welded steel floors andtrunk pan that look great.

It has a 1966 Dodge Coronet 318V8 engineand 904 transmission coupled to a1965 Dodge 8¾” rear-end withwe think2.76 gears.

Working power rack and pinion steering with original Plymouth steeringwheel;working power disc/drum brakes with Eagle Talon brake booster. New wheel cylinders and lines. Easy rolling on7.60 x 15 wide white wall tires (OK for rollers only) with original wheels and hubcaps.

Has 41 Plymouth trunk lid with some rust on lower lid. Has rear, quarter &passenger door glass but needsdriver doorglass.Rear,quarter,anddoor reveals in very good shape. Most of the exterior stainless trim in good shape (we were not going to use). Dash and rear shelf are in place.

NOS - Newer and Used Parts recently purchased and included: new full wiring kit, very good used dome light assembly with new door jamb switch, 2 used headlight buckets with 7” headlights, very good used headlight stainless trim, NOS parking light glass/frames/gaskets, new LED complete tail light assemblies with gaskets, complete kit of new weather stripping,windshield center divider, new clear windshield glass, both door window crank used (as new)mechanisms, used inner door handles and window cranks, used radio delete plate with Plymouth emblem and dash ash tray, period new cigar lighter, used Plymouth hood emblem, used but complete wiper transmission, NOS wiper blades and arms, new hood pull cable, 2 new black lap seatbelts, set of new kick panels, set ofnew door panels and new glove box. Matching ignition and 2 door locks with 2 keys. Floor - firewall insulation.

What's not included butprobably neededto complete the project:fuel pump, radiator & electric fan,battery, dash gauges, front bench or bucket seats (no rear seat in business coupe), headlinerbows, headliner & door/kick panel upholstery, carpeting - may have left out minorstuff.

The car,including the above parts, is a great inexpensive start forbuilding your custom street rod.
