Plymouth Barracuda 1970 Description

"ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE" BARRACUDA, PLYMOUT,

1970 SURVIVOR, Y3 YELLOW GOLD, WHITE INTERIOR. WHITEVINYL TOP, NUMBERS MATCHING 383, ONE OF ONLY 960 BUILT THAT WERE THE 383 BIG BLOCK, BUT DID NOT HAVE THE 'CUDA" OPTION. see more ofthis car on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TidAerJOD7I

I AM THE THIRD OWNER, I HAVE THE COPY OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASERS TITLE, THE SECOND OWNER WAS THE PERSON I PURCHASED THIS CAR FROM. HE ONLY INVESTED IN CARS AND STORED THEM. THIS ONE, FOR 18 YEARS.

I DID CHANGE IT TO A NEW EDELBROCK THUNDER 650, WITH INTAKE. FOUR BARREL CARB, BECAUSE THE FACTORY TWO BARREL JUST WAS NOT GOOD, EVEN AFTER THE OVERHAUL.. IT HAS NEW DUAL EXHAUST, I HAVE THE ORIGINAL CARB AND PARTS.IT IS THE 8 3/4 REAREND, NOT LOW GEARS, IT IS THE TORQUE FLITE TRANS, 727 I THINK IT IS CALLED, NOT POSI.REAR END,IT HASPOWER STEERING. THE BRAKES ARE VERY GOOD. FACTORY WORKING AM RADIO.

THE ORIGINAL FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING WAS CONVERTED, AND BLOWS COLD. THE WHEELS AND TIRES ARE NEW. I DID HAVE IT REPAINTED ONCE LAST YEAR, THE ORIGINAL PAINT WAS FAIR, IT HAD A SMALL LOWER FRONT FENDER DENT THAT WAS FIXED. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE PAINT MATCH, SO IT WAS COMPLETLY REPAINTED, BY PROFESSIONALS. YES,AT A COSTOF OVER $$6000.00 .. I HAD NO IDEA PAINT WOULD COST THAT MUCH. THIS CAR HAS NO RUST, OR NEVER DID. . IT IS SOLID, IT WAS IN ARIZONA THE FIRST HALF OF ITS LIFE, THEN STORED IN DRY, HEATED GARAGE UNTILL I ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. IT IS REALLY A STATEMENT OF 1970. IT IS LIKE A CAR THAT ISNOT 45 YEARS OLD,AT ALL. ALL THE RUBBER ANDDOOR SEALS ARE SOFT, AND ALMOST LIKE NEW AS IS THE ELECTRICAL AND WIRING. ALL GLASS HAS THE ORIGINAL FACTORY STAMPINGS, AS DOES ALL THE SHEET METAL.

THE WHITE INTERIOR DOES HAVE SOME YELLOWING, AS YOU MAY SEE IN THE PHOTO. I HAVE PUT ON ABOUT 5K MILES ON IT. I WOULD DRIVE IT ANYWHER, ANYTIME. IT IS READY TO RUN. HAS ORIGINAL WHITE VINYL TOP, NEW SHOCKS, AND NEWPLUGWIRES, HOSES, BELTS, WATERPUMP, PLUGS, TRANSMISSION OILFILTER CHANGED, NEW FUEL PUMP. NEW STARTER, NEW HEAD LINER, AS THE GRAND COUPE HEADLINERS ALWAYS FELL LOOSE.NEW SHOCKS,... I WANTED IT TO BE ROADWORTHY. THE ORIGIAN POINTS DISTRIBUTOR MUST HAVE BEEN UPGRADED YEARS AGO TO THE ELECTRICIGNITION, BECAUSE IT HAS THE 1971 STYLE IGNITION .. A COMMON UPGRADE AT THAT TIME. THE GLASS ISALL ORIGINAL AND VERY NICE GLASS, THE ORIGINAL DASHHAS NO CRACKS IT IT. THERE IS NO RUST. UNDERSIDE IS SOLID, NOT BENTAND NEVER WRECKED,THERE ARE NOT RUST HOLES, IT ISSOLID THRUOUT. IT HASGOOD EVERYTHING THAT I KNOW OF. BUT STILL, SELLING AS ANY CAR. AS IS. YOU WOULD HAVE TO COME AND PICK IT UP, OR ARANGE FOR IT TO BE TRANSPORTED YOURSELF.

I MUST THINK OF RETIRING, SO SELLING.
