The Commando callouts were not lying. This came from the factory with the 383 cubic-inch V8 with four-barrel carburetor (advertised at 330 hp) and it still carries those specs today. So this has some true muscle car power, and it announces it to the world every time you fire it up and unleash the rumble of the dual exhaust. The engine bay has a very clean and stock appearance with Mopar turquoise on the block, tidy hoses, and the big black air cleaner. But beyond just looking original, the block decodes to a correct '65 383 ci V8, so we are looking at something original or close to it. Even with the big block under the hood, this one retains its cool cruising attitude.
