Plymouth Fury 1970 Description

70 Plymouth Fury Sport, 318, original B5 blue on B5 blue car.California car. Runs and drives very good - starts right up, idles perfectly, drives nice.See condition of floorpans and trunkpan - C-L-E-A-N! As with most Furys, it did have some rust in lower qtrs - did 1/4 qtr patch on DR side, and did 1/2 qtr (bodyline down) on PASS side. Otherwise very straight and original - it previously was used as a prop and was 'police-car'ed up - they brushed thick black paint on everything but the doors which were brushed white - several layers - I took down to bare metal to start with clean slate - sanding unfinished, won't lie like most people do and say 'ready for paint' - still needs some elbow-grease block sanding - just sprayed cheap rattle can primer to protect bare metal, but it does stay in garage.Fender tag present, all other tags match, and broadcast sheet are there....unmolested except for the horrid layers of black and white paint that were removed.I put air shocks on it, have brand new stock-style shocks I can put on instead if you like. It has decent turbo-muffler type rumble to it, but is completely original other than that.
Dash has one big crack in it, door panels are in pretty good shape. I have all the side trim and the wheel well opening trim for it....I also have rare set of side trim from the convertible which was also blue and is inlayed with blue - but it is from a 2dr, so it would not be a complete set.Bumpers are in good shape and hideaway headlights work perfectly. Has the sport tailpanel, and taillights - the DR taillight has a small chunk missing out of it.The glass is in good shape except for the rear door windows....I have another PASS side glass for it, but not for the DR side yet.The Buy-It-Now price includes BOTH interiors - the original cloth bench seats, AND the vinyl seats from a 70 Sport Conv as pictured. The one bucket seat needs recovered, but the other bucket seat and the rear seat with the rare built-in speaker are in near MINT condition for their age - no rips or fading, etc.
NOTE: I am selling the car with the original wheels with hubcaps or the police dog dish wheels - complete set with good RWL tires (two tires are currently blackwall out) instead of the polished aluminum wheels and tires pictured.
