Plymouth Satellite 1965 Description
I am selling a Belvedere 1. The car is a solid car. All issues have been professionally taken care of. The car was a 6 cylinder automatic on the column model.I wanted to build a street-able A990 clone but I am at the point with travels I can not finish the car. I built a 572 Hemi with the correct cross-ram setup with both Air Cleaner and Velocity Stacks. The Hemi is not included but available if interested. I also have a John Cope race built 727. This would be a solid transmission for the NSS/A class I wanted to run and a 8" 5600 stall converter, ( not included ) but available.
Rust was in the quarters and wheel houses but it was replaced with hand formed repairs. The metal work is some of the best. I have a photo library of the repairs during the process. I will load some photos on this ad. The car is painted Black and the interior is Fawn Gold per A990 color scheme. I have prepro. door panels ready and seat covers for van seats.
Bright work, the grill and bezels were stripped polished and re-anodized and are perfect. All the emblems were stripped and re-plated and detailed. The Chrome and stainless steel are polished. Bumpers were re-chromed.
The car has a 12 point Chrome Moly Cage. The Belvedere has a new head liner and is ready to build now. The body has been mini-tubed and finished to look as stock. The tubes were separated and moved into the frame rails. The work looks stock but a larger tire can be used. The Sub-Frames are tied and a Ladder bar on a Ford 9 Inch 430 spool. The rear axle was powder coated. The car has AeroMotive disc brakes front and rear. I have a new large piston Mopar Master Cylinder and adapters to mount. I have the rods to convert for the new style mount. Much better than the single bowl.
I rebuilt the front end about 3,000 miles before tear down so it is new or newer and I would not change it. The K-Frame was notched as original S/S racers would have cut them. The Cage and K-Frame were professionally done. The car is setup for Elephant ears for a BB Chrysler which are included.
I am going to have to look at the fuel system but it was ready to fuel up to 1,000hp. I think it was AeroMotive 10an lines. The fuel tank has a sump installed and is painted to look natural finish.
The car is a solid show/race/street car. There are a few things needed to finish the build.
The car needs assembeled, wired and plumbed.
